The Apollo Theatre - Located in Newport on the Isle of Wight. Also covers Ryde, Bembridge, Ventnor, Shanklin, Freshwater, Sandown and Wooton. The Apollo players are an amateur theatrical company on the IOW, specialising in the arts. Apollo is a venue for the performance of plays and the showing of films. A place for drama, acting, musicals, and various types of amateur theatrical workshops. All forms of Dramatic art - Performances, play readings, rehearsals and stuff. Possibly the best theatre located on the Island. Apollo theatre has been established since 1989.>
